English councils issue millions of Penalty Charge Notices every year, and private operators issue millions more. Only about 3% of people challenge one. Of those who reach an independent tribunal, most win.
That gap is not about who was right. It is about effort. Writing a proper appeal means knowing which law applies, which deadlines bind the issuer, which arguments contradict each other and what evidence to attach. Most people look at that, look at the £70, and pay.
Voidly closes the gap. You answer a few questions and it assembles a formal letter citing the right legislation for your case, with a checklist of the evidence to send with it.
How it is built
The legal content is not generated. Every ground comes from a fixed template written in advance, and a rules engine decides which ones apply to your answers. That matters, because a language model asked to write legal arguments will eventually invent a statute section that does not exist. Ours cannot, because it never touches the law.
The rules engine also stops a letter arguing against itself. If you were not the driver, it will not claim the payment machine was broken, because you would be conceding you were there.
No account, nothing stored
There is no signup, no database and no record of your case. Your answers generate a letter and are then discarded. Read the privacy policy for exactly what happens to the details you enter.
What we will not do
We do not write letters for speeding, red light or other criminal motoring offences. Those work nothing like a parking charge and an automated letter could make your position worse. Here is what to do instead.
We do not publish a success rate, because we do not track outcomes and inventing a number would be dishonest.
